It says that I have not returned two books, but I returned them two days ago, when they were due. Will I be charged?

Call the circulation desk at (828) 262.2818, or use the email form on the right and ask us to renew the items so that overdues do not accrue.  Ask that the status of the books be changed to "Claims Returned," which alerts us to search for the books.  The books will remain checked out to you until either we or you find them.  

On occasion we do make the mistake of failing to check in an item before it goes back to the shelf in the Library.  On occasion people are also sure that they returned items, then they turn up in the backseat of their cars or something.
